About these terms
These terms apply to the emersonvintage.com website and to the text message programme described below. Emerson Vintage is a watch dealer based in Louisa County, Virginia. Using this site means you accept these terms.
Text message programme
- What you'll get. Messages about selling or consigning your watch — questions about it, requests for photos, offers, and arranging a meeting. We do not send marketing blasts.
- How to join. Tick the consent box on our form, or simply text us first.
- Frequency. Varies with the conversation. Typically a handful of messages while we're evaluating your watch.
- Cost. We don't charge for messages. Message and data rates may apply from your carrier.
- Opting out. Reply STOP at any time and we will stop texting you. Reply HELP for help, or email hello@emersonvintage.com.
- Carriers. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- Your data. Handled as described in our Privacy Policy. Mobile opt-in data is never shared with third parties for marketing.
Valuations and offers
Any figure we discuss before seeing a watch in person is an estimate based on what you've told us and current market comparables. It is not a binding offer. A firm offer is made only after we inspect the watch, and either side may walk away at any point before money changes hands.
Estimates depend on the accuracy of what you tell us. Undisclosed damage, replacement parts, or aftermarket components will change the number.
Selling to us
By selling us a watch, you confirm that you own it outright, that it is free of any lien or claim, and that it is not stolen. We record the serial number and check it against stolen-property databases. We require government-issued photo identification at the point of sale and will not complete a purchase without it.
We may decline any transaction, for any reason, at any time before completion.
Consignment
Where we sell a watch on your behalf, the specific terms — servicing, timeline, commission, and payout — are set out in a separate written consignment agreement signed by both of us. These terms don't replace that agreement.
Trademarks
Rolex and its model names are trademarks of Rolex SA. Emerson Vintage is an independent dealer and is not affiliated with, authorised by, or endorsed by Rolex SA or Rolex USA. We use those names only to describe the watches we buy and sell.
Site content
This site is provided as-is. We try to keep it accurate but don't warrant that it is. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia.
